{"id":143,"date":"2012-08-20T11:50:12","date_gmt":"2012-08-20T16:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.parkmuseum.info\/?p=143"},"modified":"2019-04-24T09:28:38","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T14:28:38","slug":"board-of-governors-announces-appointment-of-architects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.parkmuseum.info\/?p=143","title":{"rendered":"Board of Governors announces appointment of architects"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The Board of Governors of The Park Museum is pleased to announce that the firm of Fleck + Stone Architects has been appointed to design The Park Museum and its surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>Fleck + Stone is the architectural firm responsible for the design of the Institute for the Study of Mammalian Life and The Park&#8217;s Burrow Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>In announcing its choice, the\u00a0Board of Governors said the architects have &#8220;the vision and the skill to create a beautiful building that will properly house and display the history of The Park and its residents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is estimated that the museum, which will be built in the central square of The Park, will cost between 5 and 10 million <em>Ftoo.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A fundraising campaign has been underway since 2008.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Board of Governors of The Park Museum is pleased to announce that the firm of Fleck + Stone Architects has been appointed to design The Park Museum and its surrounding area.
