Museum Month event for the young: “How we found the cave paintings,” with Goat kids Lila and Nardo

BIRD-SKETCH-CAVE-PAINTING.jpgThe Board of Governors of The Park Museum is pleased to present a special Museum Month event for our young patrons.

Our guests will be Goat kids Lila and Nardo, who at seven months of age discovered the paintings on the walls of The Park’s northeastern cave in 2006. Now adults, they will discuss their experience and share new details of the discovery, its aftermath, and the way in which it changed their lives. They will also discuss their study of archaeology and their plans for the future.

This event will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Animals under the age of eight months must be accompanied by an elder.

The event is free of charge, but reservations are required. Tickets may be secured from BilletBox.
