Board of Governors announces appointment of architects

The Board of Governors of The Park Museum is pleased to announce that the firm of Fleck + Stone Architects has been appointed to design The Park Museum and its surrounding area.

Fleck + Stone is the architectural firm responsible for the design of the Institute for the Study of Mammalian Life and The Park’s Burrow Theatre.

In announcing its choice, the Board of Governors said the architects have “the vision and the skill to create a beautiful building that will properly house and display the history of The Park and its residents.”

It is estimated that the museum, which will be built in the central square of The Park, will cost between 5 and 10 million Ftoo.

A fundraising campaign has been underway since 2008.
